As promised, since launching Direct in January this year, we've been working tirelessly to improve the app and add new features. We have some big new features to come but today's update is almost all bug and flow fixes to make your merch-making process more simple. Here's the big list of updates and fixes:

Features

  • We’re updating all product imagery to our super high-quality source images - This is a long process as we have over half a million products on Direct! We've started with our most active stores, and the rest will be updated over the next 3/4 weeks! Keep an eye out for changes on your store and if you want yours updated first, hit the question mark and send us a message.
  • We’ve made adding your address more easy with an extra field for longer addresses and we’ve made US states a dropdown so there’s no way to enter an invalid state.
  • You can now change your account email address on your My Account page.
  • The store currency now defaults to your address so you won’t see the wrong currency when loading your store in some situations where your location couldn’t be detected.

Bug Fixes

  • Important update: you can now edit existing products created on Dizzyjam or Cotton Cart before the Direct launch. There was a bug preventing these products from being edited which caused the product editor to show a blank screen.
  • Important update: We fixed a bug that caused the spinning wheel of death if the image was larger the product could not be saved.
  • Important update: We’ve made a few fixes which could cause the order/sale total to be wrong on the site because of missing VAT or because orders you purchased were later made inactive by the store owner.
  • Fixed the filter on the sales page so you can see the last year of sales.
  • Fixed a bug where tote bag images wouldn’t show on the store page.
  • Fixed a bug where you would get an order confirmation email when the payment would actually fail for an order.
  • Lots of small UX/design improvements across the app.

We're keeping our open roadmap up to date, get your votes in on what we work on next!

I'll be back next month with the latest update info from Direct.
