Since we launched Direct last month we've been working hard on updates and fixes. This post is the first of our regular changelog updates where we share all of the details of recent platform updates and bug fixes.

If you see a bug we've missed, share it with the Direct team and to see what we're working on next in terms of features and to submit your own ideas see our open roadmap.

New Features:

  • Saving your products is now super quick as we now create the product imagery seamlessly in the background, no more spinning wheel!
  • We’ve updated the product editor so you can now add more that once design to a single product plus a wide range of new controls including duplicate and detailed rotation controls.
  • New ways to pay! Your fans can now pay instantly with Apple Pay, Gpay, Klarna and Clearpay.
  • We’ve added an autocomplete address field at checkout to make sure your order is going to the right place! + we’ve made US states a dropdown so there’s no way to enter an invalid state.

Bug Fixes:

  • We’ve updated location detection so the stores you visit will show products in the correct currency! No more £ pricing in the US.
  • Embed codes were loading with no products until you refreshed the page due to the way the fans country was detected. This is now fixed and embed codes now show all products right away
  • Some Cotton Cart users could not update their shop cover image from settings if their existing shop image was broken, everyone can now update their cover image.
  • Your cart is now stored over multiple browser tabs so you can search over multiple tabs with a single shared cart.
  • Now when you click on an inactive product on your own store you get taken directly to the product editor instead of just refreshing the page.
  • Orders to the EU are now sent tracked so they will get to your fans faster (and they can keep track of their progress!)
